The Church is situated around 6 miles from Manchester City Centre.

Moston Methodist Church is a part of the newly-formed Manchester Circuit. This new circuit contains over 32 churches in the North, South and East of the City. At Moston, we have a membership of around 85, and we have average congregations of around 100 per week.

The Church has developing Ecumenical connections with other churches in the Moston area. One of the highlights of our year is the Walk of Witness. In recent years, we have walked with our Ecumenical partners in the area in one massed Walk of Witness. This is one of the many public faces of our church - a combined number of around 800 - 1,000 people witnessing their faiths together!!

During the week, there are many activities held at the church. The Church runs a playgroup, catering for youngsters before they are old enough to go to school.

On a Sunday, in addition to the services, the Church runs a Sunday Club. Ages range from 5-14. Children take part in the first part of the service, then they disappear to have their own fun!! In time, the Sunday Club may have their own page within this site, so they can tell you more about what they do!

There are also activities during the week for the older members of the Church. Tuesday morning is a time for Prayer Fellowship, and on another morning there is a Bible Study. Wednesday sees two groups for the ladies of the Church - the Afternoon Fellowship, and the Social hour. Both sessions get people out of their houses for a chat, coffee, and occasionally a speaker.

The Church is lucky to have an active choir, which is a joint choir with Chain Bar Methodist Church - another church in the circuit. The choir rehearses every Friday evening, and regularly plays a role in Worship. Naturally, there is a presence from the choir at every service to strengthen the hymn-singing efforts!!

There are a number of Uniformed Organisations that meet weekly at Moston. We host 2 Brownie packs, a company of guides and a pack of cubs.

The Church buildings are the home of numerous local organisations too. A local slimmer's club "Weightwatchers" is held several times per week, which is quite well-attended. A local dance school holds classes and occasional competitions in the church hall.
